Storage: Favorites and interface state are stored in the app's local container. Optional high-resolution artwork is cached through Apple On-Demand Resources and is not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
Retention: Favorites and preferences remain until the user changes them or removes the app's local container. Optional high-resolution resources remain until the user releases them or the system reclaims the cache.

Purchases and subscriptions
The current project defines one one-year auto-renewable subscription with product ID com.jiangzhiyuan.westernartatlas.premium.yearly and no developer-operated purchase server. Apple handles App Store account, transaction and payment data; the app reads StoreKit product and entitlement status and does not receive payment-card credentials.
