Local data and storage
- Fold names, member device identifiers, levels, delay, restore policy and related Fold settings
- A short local session journal used to restore the previous system output after quit or crash
- Menu-bar, launch-at-login and restore preferences
Storage: Fold documents, session state and preferences are stored only inside the AuralFold App Sandbox container on the Mac.
Retention: Saved Folds and preferences remain until the user deletes them or removes the app container. The short session journal is cleared after a clean quit.
User controls
- Delete individual saved Folds in the app
- Quit AuralFold to restore the previous system output and remove AuralFold-owned aggregates
- Remove the app container by uninstalling the app
Purchases
The current United States App Store listing presents AuralFold as a free download and exposes no in-app purchase or subscription. Apple handles App Store account and distribution data; AuralFold does not receive payment credentials or operate a purchase server.

No unresolved privacy item is recorded in the Product Registry. The App Store disclosure and in-app policy link must still remain consistent with every shipped build.
